My real name is John Dough i have dropped numerous mixes under many different names over the years. After making my rounds through every type of house and maturing as an artist i finally feel like the time is right to make my debut as a DJ. I am reinventing myself as an artist and incorporating only the best technique, track selection and creativity to keep the dance floor pumping. Leaving everything behind I finally decided to make my DJ/Producer name F.B.I. Fabricated Beatz Inc. ; ; ; I have always been into music, as a kid it was mainly hip-hop until i got to about 15/16 when i started going to underground parties and finding alternative types of music - Breaks, Funky-House, Progressive, Hard-House etc and that was when i began to think about becoming a DJ. My Dj'ing days did not start until i was 22, i used to work for a local restaurant and the owner was looking for someone to play hip hop on Friday and Saturday night's the owner being my friend asked me personally if i could help him out. I told him i did not know the first thing about DJ'ing and besides that i did not have any equipment, he then said he would buy equipment( two technics 1200's and a pioneer mixer) and that i could take it home to practice whenever i wanted i jumped on the opportunity. I would play hip-hop every Friday and Saturday but during the week i would experiment with every kind of electronic music i could get my hands on. After doing this for a year strait i got really tired of the hip-hop and fell in love with House (Electro in-particular)and had only one thing on my mind becoming a professional House DJ. ; When i Finally did quit the restaurant four months later, "Hip-Hop" really did not interest me at all anymore and i had no equipment so i purchase my own decks for the first time, a pair of Numark CDX 1200's and a DJM-600. They have kept me going for year's now and I actually do not think i would part from them at all! (being that they were my first decks) Now I Have two 1210 M5G's, DJM-800 and Sarato Scratch Live I have also just recently purchased Ableton Live and have been taking classes to learn how to produce. Now after all my hard work i am confident that i bring something good to the table and am looking to progress and move into the club scene.
